All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father's house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes...I was just completely blown away by the phrase "choice and mighty men of valour." My other Bible, an English Standard Version, says "approved, mighty warriors." Which is still nice but just doesn't soar like the KJV.
And all this got me thinking, what does it mean in today's world to be choice, or approved, and mighty? That's what I aim to find out.
Choice, someone chose you, you are chosen. You are wanted, you are a gift from God. Your mother hath named you well.
